Combining Electro-Fenton and adsorption processes for reclamation of textile industry wastewater and modeling by Artificial neural Networks

In the present study, coupling electro-Fenton (EF) and adsorption processes for textile industry wastewater remediation was investigated, in both batch continuous flow modes. Sepiolite used as an adsorbent coupled EF/adsorption processes. Various parameters such reaction time, current intensity, Fe2+ concentration, sepiolite dose, rate were found to affect efficiency of comparison single EF process, a synergistic effect occurred processes, leading better performance COD TOC removal from wastewater. Thus, technology, using graphite felt electrodes, efficiencies real wastewater, 58 % 36 %, respectively.
